NSW: Lightning action, but no damage caused by storms, says SES
The State Emergency Service says Sydney got off lightly after an electrical storm swept
through the city last night.
Spokesman PHIL CAMPBELL says the SES has received about a dozen calls from across Sydney.
He says a house was struck by lightning in the Hills District, but there's been no
reports of significant damage.
Channel Ten reportedly experienced problems after its transmitter was hit by lightning
during the storm.
